How does it work?
After vacuuming loose, dry debris and lifting matted pile, tiny, non-toxic sponges made of an organic, natural fiber are applied to the floor, small areas at a time. We then use brushes, appropriate for your type of floor, in our machine to agitate the sponges and activate the cleaning agents. As this is done, dirt, oils, mold spores and allergens are separated from the carpet fibers and absorbed by the sponges. (Think of your kitchen sponge.)
The sponges dry out quickly, that is why we must clean small areas at a time. But that means 0 DOWN TIME! This method is better for indoor air quality . Spots won't wick back as water evaporates, as with wet methods. And , we don't leave your carpets wet with dirty wastewater , which can grow mold and cause health problems. Not to mention leaving that dirt behind in your carpets again. Also, it doesn't leave behind sticky chemical residues that attract new soil. We leave your home truly clean. "A carpet isn't clean until it's dry."

It works great on grout too. Grout can be a challenge. It is porous and absorbs dirt, grease and liquid cleansers making them difficult to remove. The dissolved dirt can wick back to the surface, making it look dirty again. We actually trap that dirt and grease and remove it for good, no bleach, no fumes, no acids and no chemical residues to attract more dirt! We have special brushes designed especially for the job!
Wood floors aren't necessarily better for allergy & asthma sufferers. The particles are just free to float around. Carpets can filter & hold allergens within their structure, keeping them closer to the floor, not airborne, until they are removed by proper cleaning.

Other things that can improve IAQ: clean with non-toxic products, regularly clean plush furnishings such as sofas and bedding, control moisture levels with dehumidifiers. Change ac & heat pump filters often, and use fine, high quality filters that trap the tiniest of microscopic particles. Fix leaks (mold grows with moisture). Open windows to increase air flow. If you have allergies consider an air-to-air heat exchanger w/ an air cleaner on your home heating/cooling system.
